Here are some of our current schedule highlights:

TOP HAT - concludes dazzling 18-months in West End and looks to huge UK tour in 2014!
This amazing show has delighted audiences old and new, and at the end of October concluded a massive 18 months in the West End. Broadway stars Gavin Lee and Kristen Beth Williams joined the show direct from MARY POPPINS in Gavin's case, and Kristen comes from the delightful Gershwin musical NICE WORK. We are now seeing the consolidation of a successful brand in that audiences are returning for another boost of glamour and tunefulness so generously provided by this delightfully glamorous dance spectacle with crazy comedy and tunes to die for. Come on, now- when are you going?

LONDON'S BEST NIGHT OUT TOP HAT - the West End's most glamorous musical - coming soon to a town near you!
We were very excited to hear that TOP HAT scooped the London Evening Standard's BEST NIGHT OUT 2012, following on from last year's winner which was WICKED. With over 700 performances in the West End to much acclaim and regular standing ovations, the show will now undertake a massive year-long UK tour in late 2014. Packed with dazzling dance, crazy comedy, romance and beautiful Irving Berlin songs, this World Premiere production of the best Fred Astaire-Ginger Rogers musical comedy boasts a cast of 30 and a big orchestra of 14! With a great comedy plot of mistaken identity, stylish sets and costumes celebrating the Hollywood Glamour of the 1930's, and two bright young stars at the peak of their powers in some amazing dance routines and singing wonderfully tuneful Irving Berlin hits, including nine more added for extra value!

Audiences are loving the "Laugh Out Loud" comedy, over 200 lavish costumes and beautiful Art Deco sets, as well as Irving Berlin's enchanting musical numbers and the stylish tightly-drilled dance routines by Bill Deamer. It's a perfect way to banish those recession blues and an ideal treat for the whole family for your next London day out, designed to give pleasure and enjoyment to all!

Don't miss your chance to see the show with more musical than you've seen for a long time on one stage! Its brightening a theatre near you and booking is strong. It's musicals as you didn't think they did them anymore.

Happy First Birthday to the BODYGUARD! Opening in December 2012, this original stage version of the world-box-office megahit film starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner was an immediate hit with audiences. With a dynamic storyline and dazzling techno-sets by designer Tim Hatley, the Bodyguard is so much more than just a musical. Packed with many of Whitney Houston's hits not in the original film, including I Wanna Dance With Somebody, So Emotional are extra bounce added to the iconic I Will Always Love You, Soul star Beverley Knight (who debuted in the production in September) sets the stage on fire as the superstar guarded by her bodyguard played by Tristan Gemmill. What neither expects is for love to get in the way. Audience response and demand for tickets has been massive and the show is currently booking to March 2014at London's Adelphi Theatre. Huge congratulations to producers Michael Harrison and David Ian.

"Dazzling and Unforgettable" End of the Rainbow concluded successful Broadway season In August
This compelling play with music by Peter Quilter about the last days of icon Judy Garland has captured imaginations and melted hearts to prove a huge success on both sides of the Atlantic. Opening in April to mostly rave reviews including the most important one in the New York Times. The English critics agreed - An unforgettable performance will send shivers racing down your spine” said Charles Spencer in the Telegraph. “A star plays a star” The Independent, "A star is born" The Times Terry Johnson's production is ...tremendous...Bennett is stunning” said the Independent.said.

West End bids farewell to Olivier Award-winning BROKEN GLASS - mature drama with stunning ensemble performances which elevated the West End
Superb performances from Antony Sher, Stanley Townsend and Tara Fitzgerald in Arthur Miller's late drama BROKEN GLASS will live in the memories of many playgoers now that the season has concluded at London's Vaudeville Theatre . The Guardian gave it five stars and the other quality papers four stars, with high praise for all concerned. First seen in the early 1990s, this multiple award-winning play benefitted from an incisive and insightful production which reached into the raw emotion of unexpressed feelings and ultimately provided hope and deep understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of humanity. Colleagues who saw the original production have commented that this presentation was even better than the original. A fine production worthy of praise for all involved.

RUBY WAX-LOSING IT closes limited season after generating much interest at Duchess
This enormously worthwhile joint venture between The Chocolate Factory and legendary producer Thelma Holt was received in the West End with much interest, and although nothing like your usual West End fare, has provoked much discussion and engaged solidly with audiences about the mental stresses and strains of our times. Contrasting original songs by Judith Owen neatly dovetailed with Ruby Wax's inimitable style, and resonated strongly with audiences who said it gave them much to think about regarding the taboo subject of depression and mental wellness. The limited season closed on October 1st.

LImited season closes for "superb" BUTLEY

THE PULITZER PRIZE FOR DRAMA goes to... Clybourne Park  - "outrageously funny" BEST PLAY 2010 MOVED OUT of Wyndham's MAY 7th!
What better way to end a spectacular run for a landmark play that has garnered the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, BEST PLAY from The Evening Standard and also BEST PLAY from the Olivier Awards! After the highly successful sold-out run at the Royal Court, many rave reviews and picking up the prestigious Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Play 2010, Bruce Norris's CLYBOURNE PARK has made audiences laugh as much as think. The press have been unanimous in their praise of this incisive and devastatingly funny play. The cast featured a terrific ensemble of most of the original cast members including the award-nominated SOPHIE THOMPSON. Our investors can expect more news of this show very soon.

That Championship Season - Broadway's powerhouse cast closed May 29.
Opening to mixed but generally positive reviews, Jason Miller's Tony- and Pulitzer-Prize winning 1972 drama  THAT CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON had a star-studded revival at the Bernard Jacobs Theater , starring Kiefer Sutherland (making his Broadway debut), Brian Cox, Jason Patric (the late playwright’s son), Chris Noth and Jim Gaffigan. These big marquee names worked hardto publicise the show which sold strongly. Centring on the anniversary meeting of the coach and stars of a  small town basketball team, the play reflects old tensions and uses savage humour to show how time has taken its toll on the players and their victory, probing the American Dream of success at all costs. We are now awaiting final accounts for this production.

God Of Carnage wraps up successful season in Los Angeles on May 29th!
GOD OF CARNAGE which completed its phenomenally successful 16-month run on Broadway last year, was re-staged with the original Broadway cast for an eight-week season in April/May at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles. Theatre history was made when every one of the four-strong castwas nominated for a 2009 Tony Award; Best Actor – James Gandolfini, Best Actor - Jeff Daniels, and Best Actress – Hope Davis. The play won
three Tony Awards -for BEST PLAY - Yasmina Reza, BEST DIRECTION OF A PLAY – Matthew Warchus, and BEST PERFORMANCE BY A LEADING ACTRESS IN A PLAY – for the fourth cast member, Marcia Gay Harden.

Our investors will be pleased to know that royalties will be coming back to the original production from this new season, so we look forward to keeping you updated on future profits!

"Gloriously executed spoof" Hamlet! - The Musical looks to the future after standing ovations in Northampton and Richmond.
This HAMLET will have you laughing your socks off.

"The moment the ghost drifts on looking like Elvis in Vegas circa 1975, you know you’re in for a treat." What better way to introduce this fun show than to quote from the Daily Mail review? This great show had a brilliant launch at the Edinburgh Festival. Amongst many four-star reviews, the Daily Mail said “you’re in for a treat” and Channel 4 said “ It’s brilliantly irreverent”. The show was nominated for practically every award going in Edinburgh and won the coveted Audience Award for Best Musical - quite an achievement considering the competition which was fierce. Audience response has been wildly enthusiastic and we are now looking to support and expand the show's development here in the UK and abroad.

Brief Encounter - rave reviews AGAIN for second season in New York - DEPARTED on 2nd JANUARY!
“ WHY DENY YOURSELF THE PURE JOY OF THIS PRODUCTION?"

"Captivating & ingenious. I felt enlivened, enlightened and seriously moved.”
- Ben Brantley, The New York Times
“Blissfully entertaining!” - NY Daily News
“Just go and let enchantment and ingenuity of this production wash over you.”
- Associated Press.

Roundabout Theatre Company presented BRIEF ENCOUNTER at Studio 54, which opened on 28th September to (once again) rave reviews. And now this season, originally due to close on December 5th, was extended to January 2nd 2011. Ever since the first American production reluctantly closed its (twice-extended) New York season in January 2010 audiences have been asking for its return. The show toured with huge success to San Francisco and Minneapolis where it was twice-extended at each venue.

Whilst not involved in the financial risk, investors will benefit from a weekly royalty and set rental.

"Devastatingly good" A Little Night Music DEPARTED JAN 9TH 2011 after soaring to new heights with Broadway legends Peters and Stritch!
They stood, they shouted, they applauded everything in sight - emotional scenes greeted the last performance of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC on Broadway, and we were thrilled to be there to see it. The curtain came down over 20 minutes late, solely due to the avalanche of applause given each song and each performance. The five-minute ovation at the play's close was rewarded by the appearance onstage of the show's co-creator, the legendary Stephen Sondheim, making the day even more memorable.

Euphoric reviews had celebrated the August 1st reopening of this sublime show, magnificently recast with two Broadway legends - Bernadette Peters and Elaine Stritch. The reviews from the critics for this cast were superlative, even surpassing the previous ones. “An indelible moment in the history of musical theatre” said the New York Times. “A triumph!” said the Daily News. “A once-in-a-lifetime event!” said influential critic Liz Smith. NY1 News said “It doesn’t get any better than this! The stuff of theatre legend”. Many more superlatives appeared in the media to praise all involved. Needless to say, the box-office phones practically melted with demand. We are sure that the many hundreds of thousands of theatregoers who saw this show will echo that of one audience member overheard as we all left the auditorium "This has been one of the highlights of my life!". We agree, and are privileged to have been involved with a work of such high standards and exquisite performance.

Deathtrap  - LAST GASP JAN 15 2011!
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT’ - BBC Radio 4 - Front Row

"THIS FIENDISHLY CLEVER NERVE-JANGLER....

Simon Russell Beale dominates with a terrifying brilliance’ - Daily Express
GENUINELY THRILLING’ - The Sunday Times
OUTRAGEOUSLY ENTERTAINING’ - Evening Standard

Audience word of mouth made Ira Levin ‘s classic blackly comic thriller  high on must-see lists, after opening to some really great reviews at the Noel Coward Theatre in September. The high-calibre cast of Simon Russell Beale,  Jonathan Groff , Claire Skinner and Academy Award winner Estelle Parsons garnered much praise for their performances. The creative team shot an intriguing 'trailer' for the show and the stylish marketing campaign and presentation by David Pugh and Dafydd Rogers didn't do quite as well as we had hoped but was nevertheless a very worthwhile evening.

Guess How Much I Love You? DVD now on sale
The DVD of this much-loved show is now available to buy via Amazon and other good retailers. Having concluded its first major UK tour in November, the show is now in a development stage. Audiences of young theatregoers watched with rapt attention at the playful and loving antics of some of their favourite characters in GUESS HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU? The original Sam McBratney book GUESS HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU?, is a publishing phenomenon (having sold over 22 million copies worldwide). After a period of reflection, we look forward to more possibilities for this charmer of a show.

Calendar Girls  - now Toronto and next the world!
Toronto is one of the first cities to enjoy the worldwide exposure (so to speak) of the phenomenally successful CALENDAR GIRLS, with a production which opened there in April, with many more productions around the world to follow. There are over a dozen overseas productions at varying stages of development, so we look forward to seeing a lot more (!) of the CALENDAR GIRLS around the world. Our investors are enjoying regular returns from the UK incarnations of this marvellous show from the stylish team of David Pugh and Dafydd Rogers.

Brief Encounter - extended on EVERY U.S. tour date!!
BRIEF ENCOUNTER 's US tour has been a storming success, with demand outstripping supply of tickets. The show first went to San Francisco where it was extended twice, then to New York where it was extended twice, and was also extended in Minneapolis. We now are thrilled that the show has found a new home in New York for yet another season for this engaging and creative mix of film and theatre which has now been enchanting audiences for almost three years.

God Of Carnage on Broadway - said Broadway farewell June 6th 2010!
GOD OF CARNAGE completed its phenomenally successful 16-month run on Broadway on June 6th.. The show's recent cast change included the return of original New York star Jeff Daniels.
The show's closing cast were Dylan Baker, Jeff Daniels, Lucy Liu, and Janet McTeer.
We were thrilled when GOD OF CARNAGE in New York won three 2009 Tony Awards -for BEST PLAY - Yasmina Reza, BEST DIRECTION OF A PLAY – Matthew Warchus, and BEST PERFORMANCE BY A LEADING ACTRESS IN A PLAY – Marcia Gay Harden. The other nominations were Best Actor – James Gandolfini, Best Actor - Jeff Daniels, and Best Actress – Hope Davis. Theatre history was made when every one of the four-strong cast was nominated for a Tony!

You may remember that the play opened in March 2009 to some of the finest, most exciting reviews for a play in years, taking $440,000 advance sales in one day!  The show repaid its capitalisation in record time, and has distributed regular profits to our investors ever since.

We will keep you updated on any further developments for this major success.

Babes in Arms in development for big musical revival after critical hit in Chichester.
We are still beavering away with plans to bring back into our schedule of productions the smash-hit Rodgers and Hart musical BABES IN ARMS from Chichester’s 2007 programme which garnered a whole bouquet of rave reviews across the media.

"Unmissable" A Little Night Music re-opens with TWO theatre legends!
A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC has had a stunning new lease of life given by the exciting signing of two Broadway legends, Bernadete Peters and Elaine Strich. The show with original leads (and Tony Award winners) Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury was due to close on 20th June with the conclusion of the two stars' contracts after a hugely successful and acclaimed run of over 200 performances. The problems with recasting these two very special roles were resolved at the eleventh-hour with the breakthrough signings of Peters and Strich. The show previously enjoyed an almost unbroken record as the highest-paid value ticket on Broadway and we look forward to regaining that title again very soon!

"Not to be missed" A Little Night Music still shines on Broadway!
A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC at the Walter Kerr Theatre opened in December 2009 and originally starred Catherine Zeta-Jones (in her Broadway debut) as Desiree and Angela Lansbury as Madame Armfeldt, with Alexander Hanson repeating his acclaimed performance as Frederik from the London production and retaining director Trevor Nunn.
The opening notices were extremely positive and A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC took over $400,000 at the Box Office in just one day after the reviews.

Those of our investors who invested in the Garrick production in London are benefiting from a share in the box office royalty and percentage of any profit from the New York production.
